BACA Bolt for Autism 5K

This chip-timed, USA Track & Field Sanctioned 5K Run, hosted by The Behavior Analysis Center for Autism (BACA), will take place at beautiful Fort Harrison State Park, and will include a 2.5K walk and youth race. All pre-registered athletes will receive a t-shirt, custom race bib, and a finisher’s medal. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit Morning Dove Therapeutic Riding, Inc.
The Behavior Analysis Center for Autism (BACA) uses the principles and procedures of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach language, social, self-help, academic, daily living and life skills to children with autism and related disorders in the greater Indianapolis area. BACA is committed to the continuous education and training of its staff by hosting regular seminars and training sessions from its esteemed clinical team.
Morning Dove’s mission is to improve the lives of individuals with physical, cognitive and/or behavioral challenges in the greater Indianapolis community through equine assisted therapies and activities.

Packet pickup for the 2014 BACA Bolt presented by Lids Foundation will occur on Thursday, September 4, from 5:00PM-7:30PM at the Runner’s Forum Fishers location (Runner’s Forum, 14033 Mundy Dr, Fishers, IN 46038). In order to provide you with the best possible race experience on race day, we ask you make every effort to pick up your packet at this point in time.
Please note, there is a $5 charge to enter Fort Harrison State Park. If you come to packet pickup, you will receive an entry pass for the park at packet pickup. If you do not pickup the pass at packet pickup, you will be required to pay to enter the park. The park has plenty parking available, please follow signs for event parking. Additionally, we will have people directing you where to park.

Q: I live out of town and can not make it to packet pickup, what should I do?
A: You can have someone pick up your packet, if possible. if you are not able to do this, please plan on arriving between 7am-8am on race day to pick up your packet.
Q: I’m a volunteer, do I need to come to packet pickup?
A: If you are a volunteer, while you do not need to come to packet pickup, please feel free to come pick up your shirt and parking pass, if you would like.
Q: Can I have someone pick up my packet for me?
A: Yes, please give them a copy of your confirmation email.
Q: Is it possible to register someone at packet pickup?
A: Yes, though we would not be able to guarantee them a shirt. They can come see us after the awards ceremony to see if there are leftover shirts.
Race Day: We will be onsite by 7:00am for packet and chip pickup, as well as race day registration. To ensure we can start the race on time, please plan to be onsite at least an hour prior to race to pick up your timing chip. Please note, we may not be able to allow registrations within 45 minutes of the race starting, or check in within 30 minutes of the race start. Check-in will be at the blue tent near the finish line.
Parking: The park has ample parking. If additional parking is needed, you will be directed where to park.
