Heartland Endurance Sports has once again teamed up with Autism Speaks to host a run, in Noblesville on June 1. This chip-timed, USA Track & Field Sanctioned run will take place at Promise Road Elementary, and will include a 5K and a 10K option, plus a 1.5 mile youth run and fun walk. All athletes will receive a t-shirt, custom race bib, and a finisher’s medal. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit Autism Speaks.

Their longtime friend Bernie Marcus donated $25 million to help financially launch the organization. Since then, Autism Speaks has grown into the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
